You Decide !. Making Responsible Choices

How do I fit in with my family? Do I go along with the crowd so I'm not an oddball? What's my life all about? These are but a few of the many questions faced by middle school students today. Unfortunately, these questions have no simple answers. The activities and strategies in You Decide! Making Responsible Choices apply decision making skills to situations that are relevant to students' own lives. They learn to identify their choices, weigh the pros and cons, look at the overall big picture, recognize their own personal feeling and anxieties, and find alternatives. The goal of the book is to help students become better prepared for the decisions they must eventually make.
